The video states that the main ingredient in hand sanitizer (alcohol) dries up the hands, also drying out germs. This leads to said germs and bacteria to slowly die from drying up.
Well done sir!
I learned it dries up the outer layer of germs and kills them
Short and to the point but very accurate! Thank You

One thing that I learned from the video was that alcohol is the part of the hand sanitizer that kills the germs, I always thought that it was something else in the hand sanitizer.
Great response – thank you Kennedy!

Today, by watching the video, I learned that the chemical that kills the germs in hand sanitizer is rubbing alcohol.
What I learned about hand sanitizer is that is mostly made up of alcohol and once the alcohol reaches the germs it dries up their outer layer and destroys it.
